Vacation Bible School
Each year Resurrection Lutheran Church conducts Vacation Bible School for children of all ages. The church staff, adult volunteers, and teens in the RYOT group act as teachers, guides and mentors for the younger children. The curriculum is professionally designed to ensure a productive, inspirational and enjoyable experience for the children.
2010 Vacation Bible School -- High Seas Expedition!
Resurrection invites all children, age 3 through 5th graders, to Vacation Bible School, Monday through Friday, July 26-30, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon each day.
Welcome to High Seas Expedition, where your kids will explore the Mighty love of God! Get ready for a swashbuckling adventure through God?s Word, and discover that God shows his powerful love throughout Scripture.
High Seas Expedition is awash with fun. Each day, kids participate in small groups, called Crews, and dive into the Bible! Not only will they experience amazing Bible adventures but they?ll also watch for God in everyday life through something called God Sightings?. You and your kids will discover that God is active in our lives and that his fingerprints are everywhere!
High Seas Expedition is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids will see, hear, touch, and even taste! Bible Point crafts, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the High Seas Expedition activities that help faith flow into real life. Get ready to embark on a journey that will change you forever!
